Festival on the Brazos brings together people throughout the community and is host to out-of-town families from across the state and even around the country.
The highlight of the weekend is the Annual Historical Production, an energetic stage production that tells the story of Waco's history.
Around 60 local and out of town outstanding high school seniors, the court, are then presented at a royal presentation following the production. Each year, Festival on the Brazos presents an Ambassador (a local outstanding citizen) and crowns a Queen (high school senior) at the presentation.
