The tradition and focus of Festival on the Brazos is educating our community and out of town guests about the history of our beautiful, hospitable city of Waco with an Annual Historical Production.
Educational Fund and Supporting Local Non-Profits
Festival on the Brazos provides scholarships for outstanding students. The Educational Fund, supported through community donations and part of the court participation fee, allows Festival on the Brazos to provide scholarships to college bound high school seniors and college students. Festival on the Brazos has given over $100,000 in scholarships over the years to Baylor and McLennan Community College theater and music major students who have participated in the Historic Production.
The Educational Fund allows us to award these scholarships each year:
