The Festival on the Brazos Corporate Board is thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for our festival tradition! As we look ahead to the 2027 Festival on the Brazos, we are eager to fill the In-town Waco Court with an exceptional group of outstanding and well-deserving high school seniors. This year, we invite you to play a key role in this important process.

We are seeking student candidates who will graduate in May or June 2027 from any McLennan County high school, public, private or homeschool. Your connections and dedication to the community make you the perfect ambassadors to help us identify and honor these talented young people.

When considering a graduate for the 2027 court, please give thought to their school and community involvement, grades and behavior, the financial aspect of the event and even parent involvement in the community and especially Festival on the Brazos. Our In-town Court represents Waco to our visitors and our entire community.

Please keep in mind specific criteria are carefully considered during the court selection process. Although the official ranking and final list is determined by an annual revolving committee of 6 volunteers, it is confidential, and we do want to encourage our volunteers to submit names.  Of course, we would love to include every deserving young man or woman, but our numbers are limited.

Suggesting a name for the court does not secure a position on the court.
