The purpose of Festival on the Brazos is primarily educational. Since the inception of our organization, we have donated over $100,000 in scholarships.
The Jerry MacLauchlin McLennan Community College Theatre Department Scholarship has been established for members of the Theatre Department of McLennan Community College. Selction of the recipients is made by the faculty of the Department of Theatre Arts at McLennan Community College.
In 2024, The Margaret Cannon Boyce Brown Scholarship was established for high school seniors. Selection of the recipients is made by the faculty of the participating high school. In furtherance of our mission to educate, this scholarship is awarded to college-bound students so they may pursue their educational goals.
